Thank goodness, it's the weekend! Time to visit James at Newtown Area Photo for Weekend Reflections. James is on vacation this week, but he posted mckLinky so that we could still play. What a dedicated host!
I took this on our recent trip to New Braunfels. I shot this photo at the last minute, almost an afterthought. When I got home, I started playing with it and this is the result. There are reflections, but do you know what is being reflected? (Click to enlarge for a better view)
This type of photography is out of my comfort zone, but I'm pretty happy with the results. Make sure to stop by Newtown Area Photo and see some gorgeous work from all over the world.

Wow, that photo is spectacular!
Truth be told, I'm not sure which is the reflection and which is not, even though I enlarged the photo.
Still, it's a fun photo and I like the movement of the water.
Clever shot! I also really like the movement of the water :)
Wow - cool shot! I like how the water is rippling over the large rock on top, and then seems to be spilling over the ledge. The water looks to have almost a different texture to it. Wait, isn't that water? Or is it grass? Now you've got me wondering...That's it! Water is going OVER the strands. Am I right?
A large leaf. Perhaps a building reflection on the right side??
Nice.
Water is one of the photographer's best friends - but I haven't a clue as to what is being reflected :-)
Awesome photo, Kat. I have no clue what is reflected, but I am going to take a clue form your playlist...is it a boat?
xoxo

Kat this is an amazing picture, I love the sound of running water and this makes me sigh. Love the music you chose, I am not sure what is being reflected, I think you are going to have to tell us. Hugs Kathysue
I won't hazard a guess re: what is being reflected. Good photo. The more you step out of your comfort zone the larger it gets.
I love this photo, it's beautiful and contemplative. Perhaps a bridge is being reflected?
Is it running water?
When I enlarged it, it looks like an abstract painting!
Hi Kat! I can't keep up with you! I read your latest posts and accidentally commmented on all of them on your teacher post instead of here! Beuutiful photo! Happy Saturday...Debbie
Ah this is lovely, I like the red leaf, is it reflected or is it in the water?
Beautiful take but i'm like everybody else I can't for the life of me figure out what is what and which reflects. Please tell me I'm very curious. Could you please let me no by clicking the link and leaving your answer. Thank You so much...

Not in your comfort zone?
I would never have guessed that...
For this shot is surely evoking a lot of responses of positivity...
And add me to the group...
The water flow and reflections are so soothing!
a very inviting shot...love the water and the leaf floating at the top of the shot...lovely.
nice after thought....great photo...
Pretty shot of the water flowing but I can not tell what the reflection is either.
That's a very creative picture !
I have no clue either, but I love the water movement. Its a great photograph!
tres joli ;O)
Just a gorgeous picture! I just ret'd from a visit out your way! LOVE Texas! Lived in N.TX for several years before returning to my beloved ocean.
Uncle!!!! Is it a poinsetta blossom? I don't know what's reflecting but it's reflecting beautifully. Now 'fess up!
very pretty, any photo to me with moving water is so soothing and peaceful. I could have a serious addiction with fountains. No idea what is being reflected.
Amazing shot, simply beautiful, Kat! I love how you captured the moving water. I see orange and green but can't tell what it is. Is it you?....Christine
nice picture. I really like memes just to try something new. This turned out great, especially for a first.
Shall we get and answer? :)
DianeAZ got it! The "stacked" vertical brown things that you see at the lower right side are the reflections of the walkway bridge in front of the spillway. Kathy
Stunning picture!
I totally didn't see the bridge reflection till you pointed it out. I LOVE this picture!! The flowing water is so beautiful :-)
Keep stepping out of your comfort zone so you can take more stunning shots like this!!!
Thanks for your words of support on my post about Kylie. Yes, it felt awful making the decision that we made, but I know it was the best decision for Kylie. And that's what matters most. She doesn't have to deal with any of the pain and suffering anymore. That's what makes it a little easier to deal with.
Thanks for being a good blog buddy :-)
Kelly
Beautiful shot !!
Is it an overpass? Beautiful photo!!!!

Well this was just fun! I had to go back and look again after I read what it was I was looking for and it was as plain as day. Fabulous reflection, felt like I was playing Where's Waldo? lol
I think this is a wonderful shot, especially when it's enlarged.
What a great reflection! Had me guessing for a while until I got to your answer in the comments. :)
Hi kathy,
Visiting from WOW..
Beautiful shot, Enlarged it.. still couldnt get the answer..though i read it in your comment later!
Visiting from WOW's Photo Gallery. I can't tell what's reflected in that photo, but it certainly is dramatic. I think you should step out of your comfort zone more often. The results are fantastic.
Beautiful picture! Stopping by from WOW. I also posted a picture with water!
Visiting from WOW. I think it's a really striking image, but I admit I'm struggling to work out what it is!
