Alphabe Thursday - S is for ...

Yippee, it's Thursday! My favorite class of the week, Alphabe Thursday, is about to start. Make sure that you get to class on time, Mrs. Matlock loves punctuality. This week our assignment is the letter S. I have no idea why this one gave me fits. I found a bunch of really strange words that begin with S, and I've found some pictures to go along with them. Enjoy!

sanguivorous

sabbulonarium

sialagogue

spaneria

saponaceous

So sue me for the last one, I'm trying to earn extra credit! Make sure to help Mrs. Matlock grade papers, this class is getting really large!

You seriously lost me at the mosquito but I came back on board at the chocolate. I never finished college so I don't know any of those words. What I lack in intelligence I make up for in personality, lol.

Very funny!
But I am not sure I understand this. Have you simply made up all of your S-words? Why? When there are so many ready and available in the dictionary?
Well, it was clever and put a smile on my face.
Best wishes,
Anna

Well, I've never heard of any of these words, but I know that first one has to have something to do with blood-sucking little pests and reminds me I need to buy more bug repellent! It gave shivers down my spine, lol.

Good thing you put pictures with the words LOL. Sometime I think the letters with the most words are the hardest ;-) You did a great job.

Really impressive!

I shall be forced to get out my dictionary and my fly swatter to rid myself of that pesky mosquito.

Thanks for adding your own super twist each week to Alphabe-Thursday journey through the letters!

Here I thought I had a fairly decent vocabulary, but I didn't even recognize any of the words, but the skeeter and the chocolate - those I get.
