great photos...thanks for the tour...
It sure is pretty inside Kathy! I think I need to go downtown and get some pics of the inside of Florida'a old capitol now. Not the new one though--it's too plain!

Beautiful photos! I can feel the architecture.
ooo..these may be my favorites...looks like a plethora of pool reflections!
What a fantastic, elegant interior. The reflections on the shiny floor are beautiful but it's your last photo that really stands out for me. Awesome!

Wow, that last shot is fabulous!
It took enlarging and some looking, but I think the last one is taken from a mezzanine level...
Neat pictures!
Applause for that third one!
Great pics! I put a "reflection" photo out, too.
That floor has a serious shine. Bet it's a bear when wet.
WONDERFUL reflections in this this marvelous structure ... I wouldn't want to be responsible for keeping that floor up ;-)
Hugs and blessings,

Not many people get to see the inside of a capitol building and it's beauty. Nice.
I'm really behind this weekend!
I love the old government buildings with the splendid architecture and wonderful details. Not too shabby on the reflections, either!

Magnificent reflections and the last shot is outstanding! :)
Hello Kat! I had to click on the photo to enlarge it like you said! Before enlarging I was thinking there was a reflection pool but no it wasn't. The eye can sure play tricks on you!
I visited your Extras blog and I loved that photo of your grandmother and the one of your dad. Isn't wonderful that we can look "back in the day." Your grandmother was beautiful and can you remember your dad ever being so young!
Thanks for visiting with me at my new blog. I love reading. Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to review.
Have a fun week and stay warm!
~Bonnie
PS - love the snow pics!
i loved what your dad told you! LOL
You are one tricky cookie! It took me a minute (or two) to wrap my tired brain around the last photo. At first glance, I thought, What an amazing reflection!"
Then when I enlarged it I thought, "How can the photos in the reflection be right side up?"
But I finally realized I was looking at two levels. Brilliant! (You, not me.)
Kat, this is amazing! Just gorgeous! I enjoy your photos SO much. Love the last shot in particular.
XO,
Sheila :-)
Gorgeous pics Kat...and I will say the floor of that building is the cleanest I have probably EVER seen...
Hi, its the first time ive had a nozy (lol) at your pic's. The third is amaising. Is it a reflection or a diferent floor level? Thanks for all your coments in the past. Happy journey's.
Somehow I missed this post. This brings back great memories. I really enjoyed Austin and the capitol building is the best that I've seen.
This is really neat! I hope they are paying the floor cleaners well. :D
That top photo is my favorite. Really gorgeous!
