These are some photos I took some time ago when I was doing a post on the difference between what the eye sees and what an artist paints. I had forgotten that there were some nice reflections in these.
This second shot is my favorite. Click to enlarge ( click again to make the shot full screen) There are a couple of little surprises there!

I agree. All three shots are good, but the second shot is by far the best. Very nice photo with worlds inside worlds.
I love your reflections. Very special
Very artistic these reflections, I liked a lot your idea and composition.
Happy weekend reflections

Kat, all of your pictures are just gorgeous. I love the boat in the water and the still life is wonderful. Your reflections are just great. Hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving. Hugs, Marty
I just said, out loud, to the dog who is the only one with me :), "that is so cool." Mirrors behind the vignettes? Awesome photography.
Very Nice, I like the second photo the best. Like how you incorporated the picture behind the tray as a reflection. Nicely Done.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Your reflections are great! And especially the first one which I use as logo for Weekly Reflections.
Kathy, I love the idea of what the eye can see and the artist's painting. You have an artist's eye! :)
Nice! My favorite is the window reflection!

I smiled seeing how the glass had been half filled :-)
Nice.
Kat, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing these. The reflections are so neat. I particularly like the one of the still life and the painting of the still life in the background. You are GOOD!
XO,
Sheila :-)
Gorgeous images with beautiful still lifes, paintings and reflections. Fascinating!
The second one is brilliant. Very, very clever.
Excellent shots all of them, you're right, the second is great!
I like the way the paintings are displayed so they resemble mirrors.
Thanks for visiting!
Great reflection photos!
Have a relaxing weekend..
Lovely 'still life' reflections ;-)
Mine are at Small Reflections this weekend.
Hugs and blessings,
Really beautyful! At first sight, I thought the reflections were paintings!!Wonderful shots!
These are all amazing shots. I wouldn't judge the last one as a discard, either. Bravo!
Very creative ~ love the "discard" as well ~ perfect for this meme.
My first effort: Weekend Reflection ~ Mussolini's Rome
Hi Kat! I remember those paintings and your clever display! The discarded shot is very interesting...love the reflection! Happy weekend...hugs...Debbie
All three are great reflections, but the second is absolutely my favorite too.
The reflection in the art gallery is great!
I remember seeing these a while ago.
When I enlarged it I think I saw saran wrap in the wine carafe???? plus there was something I couldn't make out in the wine bottle and carafe. Both were blue?
It amazes me to see how well some people can paint.
Hi Kathy, I love these reflections. Thank you for swinging by to see the "new" kitchen valance. I always enjoy your visits. hugs ~lynne~
Those are really nice still picktures for painting subjects, Kathy!...Christine
Hi Kat, hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
This is an very interesting meme. I love the reflections, but what first drew my attention in the second one was the artist's rendition of the tray. The one in the painting is so much prettier. I'm a nut for serving trays, so I guess that explains it. lol
Hi Kathy!
Wonderful photos! I like the second one the best ..so artistic.
Thank you for entering my blog's teapot give away -- I'll be announcing the winner on Wednesday!
LOOKS like a FAB getaway!
Great post. I like seeing the closeups as well as the full picture,
Fantastic still life! And YOUR reflection?!
Great shots, Kathy, and I love your music!
Hi Kathy, I enjoyed all your pictures. I think my favorite was the second one.
