Outdoor Wednesday

SUNSET ON ST. GEORGE ISLAND FLORIDA

This is especially for all of my blogging buddies who are in a deep freeze right now!
My husband took this beautiful picture during our last family vacation. It was taken on St. George Island, Florida. We have rented a beach house there every year for the past 10 years. My brother and his family rent the house 2 doors down and we have a big family get together. Whoever can make it shows up and we just have 7 days of relaxing and enjoying each other's company. There is basically nothing to do on this little island but swim, sun and eat. To my mind, that is THE perfect vacation! Our cell phones don't even work well - just an added bonus to my mind.

Thanks to Susan at A Southern Daydreamer for hosting this event. Please visit her at http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com/ to see a list of other participants.

Gorgeous sunset! Sounds like the perfect little get-a-way. Could I survive no blogging for seven days? :-) I think I could...although the first day would be a bit tough. After that, I'd be saying, "Blog...what's a blog?" :-) Thanks for sharing this great pic on this Outdoor Wednesday.

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday! What a gorgeous sunset! We used to go to the gulf every summer... but as the kids have gotten older and busier (work), we haven't gone as often!

Looks like a beautiful view from the island...yes I could go 7 days... and never return home!It is the perfect vacation to me to!

Thanks for sharing your photo!

What a gorgeous sunset, and this really does sound like a perfect vacation. I love places that have just peace and quiet. Take a good book and lay in the sun. That's a great time. Marty
