Yes, another vacation shot from the Florida panhandle. This retired shrimp boat sits beside a great collection of shops called The Grady Market in Apalachicola, Florida. We visit every year. If you remember my Christmas gift post, my favorite photographer is Richard Bickel. We first discovered his work in this shop. He now has a stand alone gallery, but we check every year to make sure that haven't started carrying anyone new that we need to collect lol! Don't you think this old boat has lots of stories to tell? I think it's so fun that as you turn a corner in this little town, there is a boat sitting on a lawn in the middle of the business district. My husband has taken about 20 shots of this boat, but this one is my favorite.

How cool!
Tom and I know this couple...they have a large, old, wooden boat in their backyard! It's attached to their house. He's working on making it into a heated extension of their home.

I love Appalachicola! And that's a really neat boat you've shown us there. The mother of one of my best friends grew up there and tells wonderful stories of what life was like as a child growing up on the coast in the early 1900's. It's such a neat place, and I love seeing pictures of it. I also love your header! Thanks for sharing...
XO,

HI KATHY, :)
GREAT POST AND PICTURE OF THE BOAT.
HOW COOL IS THAT?
I DON'T BELIEVE I'VE EVER SEEN THIS EVEN THOUGH I GREW UP RIGHT DOWN THE COAST SO TO SPEAK.
SMALL WORLD HUH?
MY PARENTS AND LOTS OF FAMILY MEMBERS ARE STILL IN PC. EVEN MY HUBBY'S PARENTS RETIRED A FEW YEARS AGO AND NOW CALL IT HOME.
THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR KIND COMMENTS ON MY WALL POST. IT WAS A FUN ONE!
ARE YOU POSTING A WW POST AS WELL? I'LL KEEP MY EYES PEELED.
EXCUSE MY ALL CAPS. I HIT THE WRONG BUTTON AND JUST KEPT TYPING BEFORE I REALIZED IT. OOPS.
HAVE A WONDERFUL ONE.

You certainly captured that boat in all her glory. Wonderful picture. Thanks, Maryrose
That is really cool!
How fun to see a boat sitting on the land. It probably is a good draw for the shops there.

Kathy, what a great picture. It is amazing what you find in some of the coastal towns. This really is an eye catcher. I'm sure if boats could talk this one would have some wonderful stories. It is a great picture. Hugs, Marty
